My friend told me a story that had me in stitches today. He was on a bus, when two Australians walked on and asked for two tickets -

"Hey mate, can I have 2 tickets to Loogabaroo?"

Bus driver: What?!

Australians: You know, Loogabaroo?

Friends on bus: *Watch with intent*

Bus driver: I've never heard of a Loogabaroo mate...

Australians: *Get out leaflet* Nah, here you see, Loogabaroo.

Bus driver looks at the leaflet and tried to stop himself from laughing. It was a leaflet with information about Loughborough :lol:

In all fairness I pronounced it wrong at first, thought it was pronounced "Loff-bur-uh" Like cough, but it's pronounced "Luff-bur-uh". But definitely not pronounced Loogabaroo. My friend proper belly laughed when that conversation took place hahaha, I woulda been pissing myself too. I thought it was hilarious.
